Hit up the Navi for the last 2 of incoming and the outgoing. Nothing doing on the incoming but once the tide slacked it was game on. Started chewing on the ebb and continued thru the outgoing.
All cookie cutter males 5-5 1/2”. Nothing huge and not many shorts either. Only 1 female all day. Fresh snagged bunker was the ticket with droplines out catching the traps 2-1.
Amount of life on the NW corner of Earle in the am was unreal. Huge pods of porpoise, had to be 70+ we saw. Some real small ones as well. Calves?

Surprised we didn’t see you Duff... We got there around 10:30 and left at 1:30.
Most of our luck was on the incoming with chicken necks and backs and drop lines. We had 2 dozen nice Jimmies then once we hit slack it shut off...
When we first arrived we saw a guy working his line of traps who wasn’t doing well at all so thought we were in for long day.. Dropped the first line down and boom!
Had our Grandson Hudson out for the first time and he took to the boat and crabbing like an old salt..

Nice job. I do the Sink often. I've found outgoing works better lately too.
I assumed you anchored and not jugged if you did handlines.

Anchored up on the NE corner of the Oceanic. Had drop lines and traps tied up around the boat.
Gerry I’m guessing you were further up river of me?
