8/1 - Ran our open boat bluefin trip today. Covered alot of ground and finally found tons of chicks on slicks. The guys worked their asses off all day with the jigs, but unfortunately it was not our day and we never came tight on a tuna.
8/2 - This morning we had long time customer and friends Paul Rubee and Capt. Chad of Tagged Fish on board. Started off where we were the day before but with less life we took a ride and ran into the life. Managed to land 2 overs of 53 and 55" keeping our one and releasing the other. After putting in some time with no more bites, we went and hit the pots. Had a nice pull of mahi boxing 37 between 3-18# before calling it a day.
