Artie O'Brian, Lake Hopatcong, just missed the Monthly Pool today but taking the daily pool with a beauty at 6 pounds 9 ounces.
Bill Venezia, Keyport took this Months honors with his 6.11 pounder...Congrads on a very Nice Fluke Bill.
Today we slugged away picking at some very nice keepers along with plenty of shorts, fishing several drops and area's . Not enough in one spot to keep us there so we keep working it every day.
Sarah, who has fished with me since she was a little girl landed over 20 Fluke, a nice 3 plus pounder for dinner and a couple Sea Bass. Steve (Chaos) fishing with his Grandson for the first time had 5 beauties between them. Several other nice fish around the boat but it's not easy by any means!!
Bait out fished the jigs once again today....6-8 ounces of lead and a medium action rod has been doing well. Fishing the Ocean, Rock bottom & snags.
