Any sponsor shops have the new colors yet ??
Was in a NS shop today and didn't see any of the new ones.
Needed to replace multiple nuclears and pink shines chomped up this weekend.
Dozens of short fluke and some sea bass culprits too.
Thanks.

Within the first minute, the video (released this week) announces that the new colors will be available later this year. It's just part of the post-ICAST (fishing tackle trade show) hype machine that manufacturers create to encourage retailers to stock their shelves with the newest stuff.

I picked up a pack of the Fire Tiger, Blue Fuze and Cajun Chicken at a NS shop.
PM me if you want the name of the shop.

A couple of these colors have been posted on ebay a few weeks ago selling for ridiculous prices. The lowest was $19.99/bag! A friend of mine just picked up the firetiger and cajun yesterday at Dick's in Rockaway for I believe $7.99/bag.

6 of the colors have been available for over 2 months now.
Of course there will be hype as some good colors have been added.
All colors should be available at any shops that want to carry them this week.

Anybody else notice a huge decline in GULP quality over the years? With all the short fluke and seabass around, if you feel the slightest tap ever and you're using gulp, you might as well reel it in and check, guaranteed your tail is gone. I spent $24 on 3 packs of gulp yesterday, nemesis and two 6" grub packs, every single one got destroyed in no time at all. Went back to the 4" swimming mullet, a staple for my fluke fishing, and those got ruined immediately as well.
I remember several years ago you could put on a 4" swimming mullet and literally get away with using 2 or 3 the ENTIRE day, and that included tons of shorts, sea bass, robins, etc. Every now and then you'd have to re-hook it, and it would look a little chewed up but those tails never came off.
I'm guessing they made too good of a product initially and needed to sell more. Really frustrating especially with what this crap costs and how you can't really buy it in real bulk.I'm seeing mostly $7.99 for a 5 pack of 6 inch grubs.

The original formula was changed for 2 reasons. first was many complaints the original bait was too hard.
It was made softer so fish hold onto it longer.
Then it was found the softer bait was able to hold more scent.
There was an issue with tails tearing off those baits easily , that issue has been corrected .

Where did you get this information from? I am not seeing that issue corrected, it is worse. That's what I'm saying. If this is true, I'll take the original formula.
On a side note, are there any companies that compete with Berkley and make a GULP alternative? Seem's like there's no competition. Great business opportunity...

That's for a pack of 4 grubs... not even a pack of 5... The 6" swimming mullet are even worse now as they only have 3 in a pack.

They sell 8 packs in a variety of all their colors(similar to gulp's) for $44.99. I bought this but haven't used them yet to compare. They advertise that they're tougher than gulp and hold scent as good or better.

Been hearing mixed results from a product called American Stink...about 60-70% have been favorable reviews.
I haven’t tried it yet and will probably buy a few packs over next winter to try next year.

Can fish see color ???
not exactly. but each color will appear as a different shade/tone/contrast in the fish's vision depending on light conditions and water clarity. They do see and feel that tail going and certainly TASTE the gulp! juice once it's close to or in its mouth!
