Hey gang, another great day out on the water today with Captain George of the Angler. Lots of great guys that fished hard came down to fish with him today. We landed some nice fluke with some sea bass and ling in the mix. I helped out on deck and took some pictures and thought he did a fine job today..Look for his follow up report later this afternoon on nj.com. See you tomorrow at the dock. Thanks.

We had the last of the ebb tide and the drift was to quick where I wanted to start. I tried a few quick drifts around Scotland but had to head south to find a slower drift. Conditions were far from Ideal but I found some fluke with shorts and keepers mixed in. It was nice being on the Prowler with a good bunch of Angler customers and Prowler regulars. I had some tell me they had their first NJ keepers of the year. Fishing was better than I have been reading about. I am pretty busy for the next 2 weeks but once we get to Aug. I will run weekly.
