Fishing Wednesday from MI

Looking to leave the Manasquan Inlet at 5am on Wednesday. What do you guys recommend we do? Range is 30-40 miles. Would love tuna but just looking for a fun day of fishing. Thanks for any info!

15-16 miles out of the MI you have access to the Shark River reef. In my opinion anchoring on one of the many wrecks out there will yield some great tasting ling, flounder and possibly a few cod....Again, in my opinion better than trolling endlessly just short of where the tuna bite has been. Not saying there is not a chance of catching tuna 30/40 miles out, but with the water temps rising the game has changed some. At some point the the mahi will also be around the reef. Good Luck
