Well I was blessed to have Captain Hank & his Fish Monger booked for the final day of sea bass. I was joined by a motley crew consisting of Philthy Orr, Russian Bear Dave, Poppa Kurtis, Poppa Vince, Cousin Rick, Dr. Evan,Scotty, Magic Marvin, Smooth Duane,& Latin Lothario Emigdlio. Scotty gave the captain some of his secret numbers & we were greeted with drop & reel sea bass & ling action all day long as well as 3 winter floundies & a lone bluefish. Shawn was amazing &helped this cast of riff raff immensely & cannot thank him enough. My trip capped off a sea bass season where Hank & his monger limited out every trip they sailed guess the guys good. Next up is LINGOMANIA!

With sour cream and chives, like mashed potatoes ?? Coming from a guy who will eat just about anything doesn't do much for the theory that ling do not freeze well.

Word on the street is bread em up then freeze them individually on a baking sheet then vacuum seal them. Anyone ever try that?

my coworker cooks them then freezes. I dry on a paper towel, place in the vaccum bag but to do not vvaccuum seal it rather i place them in the freezer for 4-6hrs to firm them up bring them out then seal em up lasts 8-12months is it as good as fresh no but no fish is after its frozen but t certainly is not bad & people who aren't me & have picky appetites have had no complaints eating fried ling fingers or bruschetta baked ling from frozen fish
