Last night squid report:
We LOADED UP on the SQUID last night for our first "CALAMARI SAFARI". The weather conditions were AWESOME and the squid were HUNGRY! Everyone went home with BUCKETS OF SQUID! We will be adding more squid trips soon, so stay posted. Space for the trip is limited, so be sure to sign up fast if you would like to get in on the action! Today's porgy report:
Today was the best weather day we have had this season. The sun was shining with a nice cool breeze. However, the porgies didn't want to cooperate. We had a good charge of jumbo scup first thing, but the full moon tide made things difficult and the bite declined. When the tide broke, it was lock-and-load catching, with jumbos flying over the rails. We spent some extra time on the grounds, making sure everyone left with a boat limit of scup.
We are heading out to Peconic Bay again tomorrow morning at 6am. See you at the dock! Don't miss out on the action! Bring your lunch and catch your dinner!
