Went to a different spot that I’ve been fishing lately as reports from there have been steady for a week, unfortunately I arrived on the wrong tide (they had been biting on the incoming and I arrived mid way thru the ebb) and the area was completely dead. So I went to where I had been catching them. Took about 30-40 minutes before I got my first one. Ended up with 7 in 2.5 hours (while missing another). Size was definitely smaller than what I had been catching there, as today they were in the #2-6 class (very similar to the size last year at this spot). Saw 3 others caught and two others lost. All mine were on a SP and out of the 3 others caught, 2 were also on a SP and one on a spoon (as were the 2 that were lost). Only good thing about the smaller size was that I was able to use my lighter 7’ rod which made the fight that much more enjoyable
