Saturday, we continued to fish north of Shark River Inlet. There was a good amount of bait around, with stripers rolling on top along with good readings. It wasn’t great fishing however, we managed to pick some nice stripers. Our pool winner was Rodolfo from Morris Plains, NJ.
Sunday, we ran north again and had a good call from the northern boats. The weather wasn’t nice but we had great fishing, mostly on readings tight to the bottom. We picked stripers on most drifts and the anglers on-board earned their catch. Our pool winner was Sue Hunt from Ewing, NJ.
Sailing daily for stripers from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and then for the blues when they come in, weather permitting.
