FISHERMEN/Thursdays fishing report...

Started out the morning in the fog searching for life. Found the gannets with readings of Bait & fish, they didn't want to bite in that area though.
Found another shot of life at the change with fish rolling on top, we hit it and managed 3 nice fish. From there we worked all the area's we caught yesterday to only come up with lots of bait & bass that didn't want to eat! Caught one more short towards the end of the day. Covered lots of miles once again trying to get it done, just the way it goes and who knows that better than me!!
On a Sad note, we lost another awesome Man & customer this week. We got a text this morning from Chef Dan telling us Billy Yurkovitch "Shop Right Bill" had passed. Not a good way to start the day I must say.
Bill was an awesome Fluke fishermen always fishing in the bow for all the years I've known him. He did like Bass fishing but it was the Fluke that always put a smile on his face. I never, ever heard him complain about anything while fishing. He always knew the deal and was just happy to be on a boat. He also loved to take his wife down to the Inlet Café in Highlands when the summer months were here.
I will miss you Bill, as a customer but more as a friend. Glad you were a part of my life...….Until we fish again my Friend.

Capt. Ron....sorry for your loss. Condolences to Bill's family, may he RIP. The only upside when we lose family and friends is the realization our lives will always be better by virtue of having known them. The memory of all those trips will live on in your prayers, thoughts and heart forever. Again sorry for the loss of a good friend.
