I haven't fished this stretch for a very long time and I forgot how beautiful it really is. I started this morning above the conservation area and worked my way down through some well worn access areas with no luck. After I got into the TCA I caught a couple small stockers but got no interest from any holdover or wild trout today. This river is a bit of a challenge and I've always had to work for every fish caught. That being said its always a pleasure to fish this area and it's very different from the streams up north. I never saw another angler while I was there and I really enjoyed my time there today fish or no fish.

I tried to get some photos up but it's not working for me today.

I've fished the toms a few times and a good day is 1-3 fish, northern streams are easy picking compared to this river

1-3 fish is an excellent day in this river, especially in this stretch. The "conserved" fish are hard to come by!
