Today aboard the Down Deep Bull we ran another 6am open boat Raritan Bay Striped Bass trip with a big crowd of great new and returning guys. After two days of short action and too few keepers, today it was a savage chew fast boxing everything the crew came for and returned many more to swim another day. There are Bunker, but jigging and trolling are working best right now. Good luck Sunday

While we have seen the same this week, the chunk bite is definitely starting. If you could find a place without boat traffic on Sunday :D , you may get them to bite.
