5th Annual Frank Viggiano Trout Opener 4/6

Well it’s that time of year again. Opening day of Trout season is among us. The rivers, ponds and lakes are currently being stocked with beautiful Rainbow Trout! Well if they haven’t been stocked already! Haha! There’s always plenty of room to fish at the venue we’ve been fishing for the last 4 years and there’s always some nice fish caught. If your not sure where to go feel free to join us bright and early Saturday, April 6th! Well have a fire going, fresh coffee from the perculator, grills and everything else imaginable. The address of our location will be in the picture! Any problems call or pm me on here.

It’s not about the fish so much! It’s about a great group of guys getting together to celebrate the the life of a fallen brother. Our brother didn’t miss an opening day from NJ to Pennsylvania no matter what the weather was. He lived to fish for the Trout in the Spring. He just loved it! It's nice you do this every year. I'm gonna play it close to home, need to be at work by 11am. I'll probably bang around the Raritan (there's a surprise) and see what comes out of the river. There is a clean up in Raritan borough also along the power canal and Raritan river that day also.

I hope you guys can make it. The creek should be running at a perfect level with the little bit of rain coming. I checked it over the weekend and it was crystal clear. I’m liking the angler participation here. C’mon down! We’ll have fresh coffee, sweet treats, taylor ham, brats, kielbasa, venison, and a truckload of other stuff to eat. On top of that the fire will be going bright and early. Can’t wait to get out there as I haven’t been out in a while.

I can tell you that my son and I had a great time. We could only stay for a few hours. Everyone there put in an awesome effort into making it a great event. Camp fire we warm, food was great, lots of laughs and a limit of fish was just a bonus 👍
