Over the years I've had an eclectic collection of rods used for fluke fishing. I'd like to standardize with a few of the same rods.
What brand/model/length rod do you use for fluking:
1) For drifting bait
2) For jigging
Thanks.

penn battalion 12/20 with a revo nacl bucktails to 6 oz
Penn battalion 15/30 with a revo nacl buctails over 6 oz which would also be fine for most bait applications

I prefer very lightweight FT rods spin n conventional . “ EDGE “ rods by Gary Loomis for instance my HOVR models meet these specs , 7.6 at 3.5 oz ! American made in Woodland Wa , taken Kings to 40#’s on them in AK rivers .
The longer rods are my preference for deepwater use , they simply move more line if u jig and the longer blank allows the use of lighter lines .
