Well it’s winding down hear in NJ . For some of you , you’ve already hung up your rod and reel because of the cold and slow fishing. But yet you’re itching to get out. You call it cabin fever? I think it’s more about friends than this fishing. You miss the excitement of tying your rigs, the possibilities of catching, where is the boat going to fish etc. While I think that pat of it, I also think it’s about the excitement about talking to people , friends and others that share your passion with equal enthusiasm. I was fortunate enough to fish the last day of the winter season on the Osprey with the above mentioned . The fishing was very very slow but in my case as well as most others on the trip. We had one of the best days of the year. You see it’s not all about the fishing it’s about what the experience represents in our lives. A lot of us including myself get caught up in what we catch. But, we also come to realize it’s so much more. So thanks to all the people that make fishing so much more. I appreciate you.

I agree with you 100% Joe but this time of the year is trophy season. It's not about going out & catching numbers look at the size of some of the fish that have been caught lately & when & if you're lucky enough to get one is.

Very well stated. This is something I preach to many of the people who call me for a trip. They should all read this. Thanks for your input.
