I have been to the most of the boats in Brielle/ PP/ Belmar. i did not hear of any party boats having heated railings. perhaps a glove can help you better.

Not sure about the type of arthritis you have.. providing you some links as below.

Amazon has some gloves especially for arthritis. below is the link to it.

This funny. The man who is likely older suffering from arthritis asked about heated hand rails.

Telling him about a thing called "gloves" must make him appear to be treated like an f'ing retard.

Tell him about miracle copper wrist bracelets, brass rings to wear or even curative bronze rod enemas for arthritis... NOW we are being informative. LMAO

Gambler no, Norma & Jamaica yes. You could fry an egg on certain J hot spots. Making fun or scoffing at heated hand rails is stupid. Wish they all had them

Unless its been repaired, a good portion of the Prowlers rails aren't working any longer, You can see where they have been blocked off.. They worked along the sides from just forward of the wheelhouse aft. The forward third or more is inoperative on both sides, unless something has changed. Last time I went there togging, I was wondering why everyone was crowded aft, and I and one or two others were toward the bow, until I tried to find the heated rails.. Doesn't matter much, still a good boat and captain, and heated rails are nice but not that important when the fishing is good.. bob

I fish the Paramount weekly yes the heated handrails works only One spot on the boat where it does not is where you board the boat it’s not connected to the rail system so it can open & close. I feel most of today’s customers are seniors & this is extremely important to us. Arthritis is something we fight every day so we can still fish. I want to thank every party boat that provides heated hand rails.

Heated hand rails are great but sometimes as stated above there are some sections that don't work.
If you find yourself in a spot that doesn't have heat or on a boat without heated rails, I discovered a trick that helps me a lot. Since I have been taking blood pressure medicine my hands get cold quickly.
Last year I went on an offshore sea bass trip on the Gambler during that brutal cold snap we had just after Christmas. I can never seem to function baiting my hooks the way I want with bulky gloves on. I brought along a bunch of the disposable rubber gloves like they use for food service. Much to my surprise they kept my hands from getting cold. I assume it's due to the fact that my hands stay dry using this method.
Keep a bunch in your tackle bag and give it a shot if you find yourself with cold hands.
BTW it also keeps your hands from getting all black around your fingernails from the whiteleggers too.

Very interesting. I had the exact opposite experience. When I tried using the disposable rubber/vinyl gloves, my hands actually felt colder. Could not figure it out. Thought I was going crazy, so had some of my buddies try it, and they said the same.

While set lining I found a thin layer of Vaseline before putting on the gloves would repel the water and keep my hands warmer.
