Looks like the birds are working south of MI today. Close enough for the surf guys....Bayhead on down.

I fished this stretch all morning absolutely nothing doing. Water is Yoo-hoo and virtually zero bait life in the surf zone.

Just got back from an evening session. Water was still dirty, brought home the skunk.

Just got in from another evening surf session. The water has cleaned up nice and there is a good swell in wide sets creating some nice whitewater, saw some bait in the wash too.There was a fair amount of guys out and one told me he was getting schoolies on his buck tail, but I didn't see anyone catching. By 6 I had the place to myself and I got a couple bumps but didn't hook up. I hope you are right about the action moving south, it sure didn't move my way this weekend, but that's how surf fishing goes. I think we got a ways to go yet this fall.

Everything out front, beach side, was dead yesterday. Just a handful of shorts taken.

I did catch fish last night in the dark on eels on the inside, but again nothing on the outside.
