Me, Jarhead and Sven of the Hook took a ride Sunday morning to the sticky stuff looking for some Blackfish. We fished in 40-50 feet and the bite was OK with jigs doing better then rigs... Got a call and fished some shallower water and had constant action but nothing big... A lot of barely legal Blackfish with a few keepers, Puffers and an occasional really short SeaBass.
Fish were warm to the touch as we released them so water is still very warm...
Limped home on one engine due to some technical issues but that's another story (boats) :mad:
Better and more colder times coming....
