You want to use something that will kill the mold or it will just come back... Try this first https://www.walmart.com/ip/Mold-Armor-Instant-Mold-Mildew-Stain-Remover-32-oz-Trigger-Spray/21798697?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1122&adid=22222222227016809919&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=t&wl3=40873288832&wl4=pla-78765686312&wl5=9004023&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=101593696&wl11=online&wl12=21798697&wl13=&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9ZDeBRD9ARIsAMbAmoYYgqM4LnbP3UkhHvO8 OKrKy9vGJp2qLxc4QyxrLFZNm91ThEUrhywaAo8wEALw_wcB
And then if it still needs further cleaning if you have a hand held carpet steamer you can use it or Tuff Stuff which you can buy in auto part stores works well too.
It’s important if you’re winter storing and having your boat wrapped that they put plenty of vents in the wrap and I would also suggest several containers of Damp Rid.

I use damprids ALL Year...... change them 3-4x a summer. Keeps up on ANY mildew or mold. Honestly try bleach in a empty windex or similar type of spray bottle. Mold goes away with gentle rubbing & follow up with a damp towel so bleach goes away & been doing that for years........ so far so good !

Ty. I'll give it a try. Honestly I would love to remove the carpet all together, but afraid that might have glue stains or whatever then on ceiling. Boat 23 1999,hydrosport wa, seahorse, anyone familiar with what's behind the carpet ceiling?
