We fished some wrecks in search of cod yesterday east of the Mudhole. What a disappointing day, we caught 1 cod,1 Pollock, 1 winter flounder and 3 ling and our final tally is not the most disappointing thing about the trip. The most disappointing thing is nearly every stop was loaded with big beautiful seabass, we probably threw back 50 or 60 keeper Seabass not even mentioning shorts. its a shame the stocks are so low :rolleyes: we had to close this fishery, could have sunk the boat with them yesterday.

Stocks are not low. According to NMFS they are 280% above sustainable level.
The quota reduction is because according to them is that the stock is "maturing".
