Zuback's Ramp OPEN sort of

I know it's not a great ramp...

I saw the gate to Zuback's open for time in 2 years on Saturday morning on the way to the Tow Boat.

Drove in and asked the guy who was there for years with his mom if they were re-opening. His reply totally blew me away.

He said that they were never closed. I told him I've been here about 10 times in the last two years and the gate was chained shut. His reply: "no we were open"


Geez... WTF???????

Tried to crab in the 15 knot wind. SO figured Cheesequake is protected. Ran to Zuback's dragging my trailer and 14' tin boat to find a chained locked gate at 10am. And the marina's phone number is still disconnected. Waste of time.

So I guess it's not really closed. Just run half-assed.

Not true. The ghost did not have that huge black lab and the older woman in the office chain smoking.
