We made it back offshore today after Fridays East wind and the fluke are still there. Not the great fishing we had before the east wind but much improvement over yesterday and it should improve after each tide change. A split current hurt conditions with the bow and starboard side catching most of the keepers.
Rich Campanella from Toms River had the pool and a couple of keepers on his home made rigs.
Tomorrow Labor Day is the last day that a 10# fluke wins 1/2 the big pool. If there is no 10# fluke Labor day the pool runs to the end of the season with the biggest fluke winning Tom is leading both pools with a 9# 13 oz fluke caught Thursday.
7:00 AM first boat out and we have you back at 2:00 PM so you can beat the traffic. Galley open.
