Pops is headed down for two weeks and has never fished the area. Anything in the surf to pass some time? Not into snapper fishing and rocks by an inlet are out of the question lol. Suggestions much appreciated!!

guys have been doing ok sharking at night with bunker. Daytime blues have showed up and big rays mostly north end
Spoke to a local captain from Cape May. No blues, stripers, or sea bass. Surf fishing is a complete bust. This year has been really bleak. It's usually much slower fishing down there. The Porgy IV out of Cape May has just started catching some fluke the past few days. He works all the reefs. Capt. Paul is an excellent captain and fisherman.

fishing there sucks. no structure - the few inshore reefs get pounded daily and usually do not yield fish - wait for the drums to get in to the bay - about all i can suggest
