Even though he may be gone in person now I am sure he will not be forgotten. In time those fishing memories that bring a tear to your eyes now thinking about the loss of your friend will bring smiles and great stories being told by you of your past trips and true friendship. Stay strong my friend.

Sorry to hear this. I may have met him at an NJF party. He raised a family all the way to grandchildren, no easy task. Best we can do is live life with no regrets and if he was a close fishing partner to you I doubt he had many regrets. RIP The Topeka Boy.

He will be missed! And thought of with a fond smile.

Angler's Prayer
God Grant that I May Live to Fish,
Until my Dying Day,
And When it comes to my Last Cast,
I Then must Humbly Pray,
When in The Lord's
Safe Landing Net,
I'm peacefully asleep,
That in his Mercy I be judged,
As Big Enough to Keep.
