Yesterday evening, we had a great night of family fun fishing! We picked right away at the sea bass, we had great action with lots of keepers!
Today, we started out looking for blues along the beach north of Shark River Inlet. We saw a lot of action on the surface at time, with a good amount of bird life. We caught some blues up to 3 pounds each, but they were uncooperative an hard to catch. Mid-morning, we ran offshore and had excellent sea bass fishing with some fluke mixed in. We also had some mackerel in the chum slick, so we were able to pick away and catch some keepers. Overall, today was a great day of fishing out on the ocean!
