FISHERMEN/BEST FISHING OF THE SEASON TODAY! Big Fluke.

After yesterdays frustrating report, today the fish gods shined down upon us! Best day of the season so far with many customers catching their three and then some!

Had Scotty, Big Tom & Gary back out today after yesterdays 14 ounce day.....all caught their 3 and then some. Conditions were finally perfect with a nice .8 knot drift and NO SWELL! Some very nice Sea Bass in the mix also.

The Leininger boys along with Joe Sullivan fishing the bow put on a clinic today with multiple limits and fish up to 6.11 pounds . The jiggers finally did well for a change as the Fluke were hungry. John Froelic also had over 25 fish jigging all day with 3 nice keepers. Mr. Bill & Capt. Ron Sr. fishing side by side also did their thing with several nice fish between them. Rob the landscaper and his crew also put a great catch together.

Pool Fish went to Billy who landed a beauty at 7.4 pounds. Back at it tomorrow. Weather looks great!

Capt. Ron

Happens all the time. Frustrating to say the least.
I fished the evening you wrote the other post, more than likely the same area you had been in .

16 oz wouldn't hold at the start of the tide, yet I moved just 2 miles and couldn't get the boat to move.
sometimes those weird tide flows make no sense, and it makes good results tough to come by.

If we could just get rid of the south swell that seems to have been here since Sandy daily , I think fishing would be the way we want it to be .
