Heading up for a two day trip Wednesday and Thursday this week... Calling for 4 to 7 feet both days...15 to 20 on Wednesday but only 5 to 10 on Thursday out of the NW and wondering what people’s thoughts are if he will still sail under them conditions. Thanks in advance

Really up to the Captain.. The size and type of boat, how far/what direction they have to travel, where specifically they will fish will all play into that decision. He might also consider the crew, are they seasoned fishermen etc.
5- 7 foot seas is not a good forecast but if the wave periods are spread apart @ 8 -10 seconds it might be doable or he could decide to fish somewhere else more protected from the winds but once again subject to the variables above.
If I were you and this is your charter, I would call the captain, let him know how bad you guys want to go, how seasoned or unseasoned your crew is and if push came to shove and the conditions aren't right to fish the shoals, would you and your crew be willing to change gears and fish someplace or something else if given an option.
If this is not your charter, have the person who booked it talk with the captain. Nothing worse in a Captain's book then having to deal with calls from 6 different weather watchers all calling about the same date.

If you're on the Helen H I'd certainly bet they'll be sailing.

Was Wednesday's canceled? I'm going Thur & Fri, 6 pack. Fri looks good. Wed looks ugly. Here's what I'm see, waiting to hear about Thursday.
