Crisper inspired me to take a break from saltwater and head up to the mountain lake...hot AF, almost passed out on the yak but managed a few lakers including my PB, plus a LMB from the walking dead...

Chris advised me to bring them up slowly for optimal release, I might've overdone the slow part...definitely bringing spare leader material next time!

Haha nah...I moved in to jig the shallow rocks. Was really hoping for some smallies but I don't know what I'm doing in freshwater!

Thanks guys! It was fun but parts of the day is just a fog, think I fried my brain out there lol

Pretty successful for not knowing what you are doing

I'm an expert internet angler when it comes to freshwater, I guess if you watch thousands of hours of youtube videos some pertinent information is retained haha
