Going to be fishing in September for haddock and whiting at Eastmans. Never been before does anyone have suggestions on rigs, lead and what not.

I usually go pretty simple on the rig, a high low with 6/0 hook works for haddock. As for whiting I tie on a couple dropper loops with the sinker on the bottom, and use smaller size hooks. Typically I go with 10oz and I'm fine through out the day. If you need more I think the boat have heavier sinkers. I have a Lamiglas TFX 7650 CT that I use up there and it works great but by no mean you have to use the same rod. Tight Lines, hope that helped and have fun.
