We really had an excellent day toda bottom fishing , I don’t want to sound like a broken record but , the fishing was very good . We had jumbo porgies, as big as hubcaps, not all of them but quite a few, and the ones that weren’t that big by standard were still very big , and we threw a lot of keepers back, there is no point in keeping just legal fish when you have those larger ones to choose from . We also had a boat limit of jumbo Seabass , Quite a few in the 3 1/2 to 4 pound bracket , I don’t mean that everyone was that big , but the ones that we did keep we’re very nice fish , and we had mixed in were those big knucklehead blueback fish again the fishing was good enough, and the limit is only two , so why keep fish that are 12 1/2 inches when you can get bigger ones . We also had a nice bunch of large Triggerfish ,which it’s good to see They survived the blow, Remember not fishing like we had before but enough so it fills the
