We "ARE" fishing tomorrow..... Incoming with the SE Breeze...Bring the heavy rods & some weight, you have been warned!
Fished two area's in the AM where I thought the end of the tide would be a plus.....No such luck, conditions & tangles were unreal! Ran further South & out of the current and banged away most of the morning with some good action on the Sea Bass and Fluke. Lost the drift and looked a little further, mostly short Sea bass so we headed to where we found some fish on Tuesday.
Like yesterday, the bite turned on with the larger Fluke at the end of the day. Chef Dan had a keeper double header and his three, Mike, Big Tom, Joe the Plumber and John had their three, Iris, chaos all had nice fish while the bite lasted. Pool fish went to John Hammer with a beauty at 6 pounds 7 ounces.
Once again, a little Overtime as it paid to be the Late Boat in...... Guys were still filleting at the dock!
Will have to see if we can make it down the beach in the AM with the South Easterly wind. If not, we always have a backup plan..
