Close to ideal drifting conditions as you can get (incoming tide with light northeast wind) made for a banner day of fluking. Boxed a solid #4 at the end of the first drift. Added two more to the box before the end of the second drift. Added a few shorts and another keeper (released) over the next two drifts. Bucktailed up a keeper (released) and short before there was a slight shift in the wind to the southeast which made for a slightly faster drift. Over the next few drifts I added 3 more keepers (all released), a few shorts, some sea robins and a big skate. Pink 4” GULP with bait was hot for me early then chartreuse. Not sure how many keeper fluke were caught but this is the total of the 6 others fishing around me. Note if they caught over the limit, they only kept their legal limit of 3;

I know of at least one other who caught 4 (again only keeping 3) and another 3 fluke limit both in the stern.
Hope to be back at it Sunday for magic hours.
