Out and about on the Kathy K today looking for the tasty bottom dwellers. Took some time to find the right size as the short Sea Bass were dominating all around. You had to weed through em’ to get to the good ones. Once you got some small ones out of the way you were kindly rewarded. The jig tipped with something did the trick today. Plain old Ava 47 worked for me. Simple fishin’ and great eatin’! The ocean was flat calm like a lake, no anchor necessary, gotta love it! Thanks to my brother Cap’n Mike for always putting us on the meat. Check out this monster Ling! Over 20 inches easy and man was that belly full! Should’ve mounted it, LOL! TIGHT LINEZ!!! YEA BUDDY!!! :D

I was out there fishing by u guys and then went to multiple spots only to get tired of the juvenile fish. I tried jigging for a bit as well but I tend to get tired of that. It’s hard to tell but by looking at the pic it looks like most of them are “just there”. I’m wondering were we would need go to hopefully find bigger sea bass. There’s not much meat on a 12 1/2” sea bass. Good job on sticking it out and getting them

There’s 4-5 just there fish but the rest are 14-16 inchers. We caught a lot of Sea Bass and yes a ton of them were small! White seemed seemed to be the hot color to tip the Ava with. In my opinion it was just “GOOD” Sea Bassin’! I’m eatin’ good right now. Fish tacos are comin’ out!!! Lol!
