Well I try to get Dales out what his week matches up. He also has success when Fishing with me. Friday was no different. We headed out around noonish hoping to find the flat ones. Made it to the grounds and good bites right off the bat. Always a bad sign. Dales had a nice fish about 24” Rich had some keepers , I had one then conditions went to crap. Made a small move found another bit of a bite. Boated a few more. Got boarded by the boys in blue, with out incident. They were very professional and courteous. Check the fish, documentation, safety equipment and off they went. Grinded Out a few more Rich had a nice fish as did I . We rounded out our three man limit then headed for the barn. Great day out with the boys and a successful trip. 123300 Dales I don’t have your pic. Please add

As discussed Capt Joey Da FF better to be lucky sometimes than good. Thanks for a great day on the water. What I love and hate about Fluking:
Rich is fishing next to me using a 2-3 OZ ball jig / Gulp pink shine on bottom and i believe plain hook with a white mullet on top both tipped with strip bait squid/ white fish bites or other species (bluefish or robin) but all strip baits.
Joey fishing similar rig to Rich.

I started off with a 3 OZ white / green spro with pink shine 6" gulp on bottom and a green white teaser on top no gulp tipped with spearing as well as spearing on the Jig. Started off great with a few shorts , nice keeper around
24" blah blah blah.

Rich starts taking over the hot hand and puts a few very nice keepers in the box so naturally I switch over to match his set-up. NO BITES what so ever.
Dump all strip baits and Switch back to spearing only but dumped the upper teaser for plain hook and gulp with spearing. Bites are back and finished off my limit! Go figure.

As Capt FF stated conditions changed often and it was very hard to stay on the line but his plan was definite as well as specific. To his credit the fish were there all day, didnt bite all day but we adjusted and topped off the boat limit while tossing back many 18.5" "shorts". With the right conditions we would have slayed them in a couple drifts!

Quality fish / quality boat/ quality skipper (kissing butt for another invite!) and the Ball busting incredible as always.
