Had some time to kill so I gave it a shot in northern Ocean county. Didn't expect much with the south wind and that's how it went. I was throwing a yellow SP with a green teaser. Started fishing at 8pm and left at 10. Had clean green water and a good push of water on the flood with a little south to north sweep, some cabbage and snot but not too bad. Overall pretty good conditions for plugging but no life for me. By 845 there was nobody there. It was good to get out there again, at least I did some recon and found a very nice dropoff. After it got dark I tried a homemade needle fish to no avail as well.
