View Full Version : Need some info about fluking from land (Great Bay Area)

Hey guys, I am not very familiar with the great bay area we have a camper at Belhaven lake ( egg Harbor city) and I'm looking to take my kids 6 and 4 year old fluking from land.. I'm looking for some areas I can access with them. if you don't want to give away your secret spots I completely understand I'm just looking for some general areas I can wet a line with them and have a shot of catching a couple of fish..please feel free to pm me if you like..Thanks guys

Thats a tough one...you need get in the channels and edges to find any concentrations and it might be worthwhile to try the surf instead near jettys

Cant really think of any ( Good Spot) for Fluke from land around Great Bay. The bridge next to Chestnut Neck Marina holds some Perch to keep the kids busy. Maybe take them Cabbing instead, lots of good spots to park and crab from on seven bridges rd.

If your comfortable taking them out. Renting a skiff for a afternoon is an option.
