I know there's at least one person on this site that eats everything...
this may belong in the recipes section but if the reports are all charters here who will notice...

They are very good to eat. I was always a little hesitant about eating them but once i tried them i was kicking my self for not eating them sooner

For years I was a big booster for eating birds, when very few else would consider it.. However, past few years they seem to have lost some of their appeal to me.. they now seem strong tasting to me for the past few years, along the lines of big porgies.. Not awful, just "fishy"..
Maybe I got a few skunky ones and got turned off to them.. I'll try again before I give up on eating them.... bob

Mix up some pancake batter using beer, add a extra pinch or two of salt. Dip the filets and deep fry. Pretty good....

Raw with wasabi taste like shrimp cocktail. Catch, bleed, ice, cut trim away bone. Better than bluefin

I tried eating skate before and I liked it, so I guess I will give sea robin a try now. The fillets remind me of blow fish fillets, and I like those breaded and fried.

Cunner are better eating than blackfish. Better than cod IMO. Get a couple nice 2 lb ers and try it. There's a reason people pay $20+ per pound for livies

I agree, they are damn good eating. As long as there is some size to them to make it worth filleting.

When I want to eat fish these days, I get a bobber and some worms, and catch sunnies and yellow perch... bob

That cleaning method seems like extra work. Maybe it's me, but I did not see where the rib bones were cut out.
I grab them by the tail and slide the knife toward the head. Then cut off the piece, skin it and cut out the rib bones.
They're good eating, but unless they're big, I let them go. Too much touble for too little yield.
