Had a trip on Thursday fishing the 1st annual NY Classic Tournament being held out of North Cove Marina in NYC. Tournament was a charity event for Cancer research. We had decent action chunking getting our boat limit. Tournament was held from 2-6 and we had tough conditions in the bay with strong E /SE winds and the end of outgoing. Managed to put fish in the box regardless.
Also fished Sat AM and had good action trolling with Striped bass up to 37 inches early then the bite died. Sea bass fishing begins Tuesday 5/15 in NJ and we will be doing open boat trips throughout the season call to inquire about dates and availability.
