Was Itching to get out on the first trip of the year, made the run up to the Raritan before the sun came up. Bunker everywhere as soon as we turned the tip of the hook. Snagged and dropped for an hour but no takers. Joined the fleet just to the north, dropped down the MOJOs and had a double on within 10 minutes. Nonstop action with 25lb stripers, headed back early with our unders and released several. Was surprising how well they were hitting with all the boat traffic in the area. Great morning, great fishing, unbelievable consistency on the troll.
