I spoke with my friend in Waretown while I was trout fishing this morning. He gave the Flatties a try yesterday by the BB buoy. He said it was total a skunk but for a few crabs. Water temp was 60 wind was SSE. He said there was quite a few boats out there trolling for Gators.

after getting many reports about flounder being found in lobster traps off about a mile I tried one of my local wharf hot spots and caught one nice 14 inch flounder. it is 10 days early for them but it looks like a very good year up here on cape sable island for flounder fishing. the water temp is only 45 deg so it has a bit to come up for the fish to get real active.

Thanks for the comeback. I'm very interested to hear how you do up there.

They were biting hard in the Manasquan last weekend. No mud on them. Seems like they are finally on the move. Got our three person limit in less than an hour. Should last a little longer till the Blues come in strong. go get em!
