Full moon striper fishing

What are everyone’s thoughts on striper boat fishing the day of a full moon?

For me fishing is better the days prior, after the full the bite slows. At this point I just go when I can regardless of the moon. I've had good fishing when I thought conditions were bad. I've also had good fishing on the moonrise sometimes.

the current will increase the drift - can be good or bad depending on wind
