I remember watching this guy on the American Sportsman show.
He certainly was a superior fly guy.

Thanks for sharing that Wilson. That guy was pretty awesome. I did not know he was a WWII vet...not too many left from that generation. They saved the world and it is always a little sadder when one of them passes on. May we never forget. RIP Mr. Kreh.

He was 90 when I last saw him. He was giving a class at the Fly Fishing Expo. He almost effortlessly threw the whole fly line with what was likely no more than a 4 wt. all the while explaining in perfectly understandable terms exactly what he was doing, Quick witted, almost always smiling. A remarkable man. RIP.
