So I have been seeing the nice pictures of browns from time to time on this site and got the itch. I don't trout fish much in Jersey anymore because steelhead spoiled me. However, there is a stream I fished a lot when I was younger and it holds native browns and bows. This stream is not stocked but part of it is designated as wild trout waters. Anyway, in 45 minutes I landed 4 browns and 1 bow and lost two other browns. All fish on a countdown rapala in rainbow finish. Biggest fish about 18" or so. I usually just release trout without taking them out of the water but mother nature was nice enough to provide a soft snow blanket on a 40 degree day. So, no frozen gills and no harm.

For pics id upload them to any file sharing site. Once it's uploaded, the website typically shows you the picture off their website. Here you should right click the image and select "View Image" or any other way of seeing the whole image alone on the page.

You use this link for Insert Image option above the text box.

This way you can bypass the image size too on this site, as well as directly embedding it in text.

Anyways, nice trout!

Awesome looking trout, thats still on my bucket list of fish to catch is a wild trout. One day also need to try and fly fish for trout this season to make it a bit more challenging. Keep catching them up!

Nice job. Your lucky to be able to do well on the same water that you fished as a kid, congrats.

Damn nice bunch of wild brownies there, congrats! Just a reminder, if you're fishing the WTS designated section you may want to consider removing the middle treble from your plug re; the new regulations. I'd hate to see a fellow angler get pinched for something so silly when clearly you're a stand-up guy.
