Fresh stocked Browns!?!? Stellar Troutin'! 1/28

Decided to give the ice some time to firm up after the little bit of rain we received. Headed out to the Trout streams knowing they would be feeding for sure. I didn't expect to catch 4 Rainbows and over 20 Browns in about 6 hours time, LOL! It just happened! Stumbled upon hole that was holding easily 100 Browns. I was shocked to see all these fish swiping and swarming at my "PLUG!!!" You had to be there to believe it! It actually reminded me of the Furunculosis year when they stocked the Rahway with diseased Browns! Its all good though, Im happy to have these Trout in 1 of my honey holes, bwhahahahahahahaha!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!

P.S. OK now, who stocked these fish? A club? The state? Pissed off rogue stocking? Secret society? Lets hear your theories boys and girls!!! PICS!!!:D

Someone purchased a private stocking permit from the state, such as a club, neighborhood residents, generous fisherman and bought the fish from a private hatchery like Musky Trout Hatchery.

Definitely not stocked by the State. No browns since the disease and there won't be browns from the State for a few years yet. They look like the normal slim holdovers from club stockings but the mystery continues.

we've run into patches of them quite a ways away from any club too. I'm going with rogue stocker!
