I am a heavy guy with extra wide feet. Can someone make a suggestion for a good pair of insulated waterproof winter boat boots?? I bought a pair of Xtratuf insulated rubber boots but they are certainly not wide enough. I even bought a size bigger to compensate for socks. A few years back I bought a pair of Mucks and had same issue. Any help is much appreciated. Happy New Year!!

I wear a pair of Guy Cotton insulated blue boots. They almost look like moon shoes. Much softer than xtratuff and should be forgiving for wider feet. I’ll try to locate a pic online or run downstairs and take a pic of mine.

Hope that helps.

U.S. Govt surplus "bunny boots." Made for standing guard duty in the Korean DMZ at midnight in January. Roomy. No possibility of being cold, and they have good traction on the deck. Do a web search for "bunny boots."

LL Bean makes their boots in narrow, normal and wide widths.
The felt insulated boots are very warm.
