Went on a non-sponsor charter and had up and down fishing for jumbos up to 6lbs plus. Mixed in were the usual porgies, pinfish and bluefish. However a number of big 6-7lb bonito were caught as well as 1 15lb cod. I had a limit plus of bass, 4 bonito and a giant lump of coal snagged off the wreck. Probably foreshadows my upcoming holiday.

Hi Tautog,
Nice catching! Looks like you were out in the Suffolk County area?
Send me a PM. I think I was togging on that boat last month.

Nice catch and some good eats. Don't worry about the coal, catching fish is like a Holiday itself, it always brings me joy.
