I’m back for a one day trip...

Well I’m turning 50 on Monday and my wife surprised me with two plane tickets to jersey on Thursday night one for me and one for Johnny tomatoes. She arranged a black fish trip for me and a night of playing cards with the old crew. So here I am in point with Johnny and fishing tomorrow going home Monday. What a great 50th surprise gift. My first time back since I moved. Looking forward to posting my first black fish report in two years

Fun times on the Mimi yesterday with an all star cast to celebrate Shrimpies 50th. Fishing was on the slow side but I’d say we probably had close to 20 or so for 17 guys. Each time Kenny would set the anchor we’d get a few fish but nothing ever really developed. Not sure what’s going on with these fish this year...

I think Joey Dah Fish, Curtis, Reel Ron and Lefty Reeler had 2 or 3. I had just 1 and so did Dales and Dirty Chimney. Hart Attack and Shrimpman got the skunk as did some others on board.

Great to see the Shrimpman again, the look on his face when he arrived on the Mimi was priceless and so was endless busting..
