Apparently, this fall, my skin is emitting 'big walleye' repellant so I just switched over to smallmouth and slammed the crap out of them. many fish caught in about a 2 hour window including these 3 bronze pigs all over 19.5" up to 20.25" caught within 45 minutes of each other. on top of that, another one that size caught by NJsquatch, a monster largemouth (20" fatty), and a 22" walleye he caught right in my face (bastard...i should've rubbed my walleye repellant on his lures too). I don't have NJsquatch's pics but we'll get them up later, here's mine.

Chris......great report, beautiful small mouths! Don't think there's a fish with more beautiful markings than a brook trout, colors are incredible. You guys are fishing machines!

Funny how SMB in the rivers seemingly go to sleep as soon as the water gets cold, but yet in deep cold lakes they continue to be active and feeding.

:( I sort of miss catching them. Even the lil cute ones.

Best smb fishing of the year imo! Ive never targetted them in rivers, but i find it weird they dont hang out with the river walleyes

Here is the funny thing. I was all about the small mouth and chrisper only wanted walleye. Would definitely trade for that pig!
