Ok here we go. This one is for PA Beerguy who started this mess:D
We have Capt Bob and the Gambler for offshore seabass leaving Friday evening Dec 15 at 11PM and returning Sat Dec 16 around 5PM
Fare is the same on all other Gambler Seabass trips $225.00 PP.
Sign up by Calling the Gambler office at 732-295-7569 or go here http://www.gamblerfishing.net/offshore-sea-bass.php and book online. Either method will be payable by your CC. First 26 get bunks (there are 20 lower and 6 upper bunks).

Capt Bob has always been passionate about supporting all fishery management causes and has been kind enough to donate a portion of each fare on this trip to support RFA-NJ. I will be running a 50/50 onboard and possibly a raffle.

You are on your own for food and beverages but the GALLEY will be open.

Lets support Capt Bob, RFA-NJ and NJfishing with a full boat showing.
Trip limited to 40.

You can post here that you are going but official boarding order will be by order Jill receives your payments. I will post the order here as I hear from Jill.
Please be patient while I coordinate the payments recieved and give Jill ample time to get back to you.

Jill will update any other sign ups soon. We have a few weeks so lets be opimistic. If the guys that said IN on the original post actually are in we would be closer

Guys your 3 days out. That forecast can change 10 times. As it looks now its doable.

As you guys know the call will be made either Thursday or Friday Mid day I imagine. No sense worrying about it until then but obviously safety first. Also trying to give everyone time to prep or not purchase food, drinks etc if cancelled
I am sure Capt Bob will let us know as soon as possible through me and on his website or office.

PA Beer Guy and Jay since so far its only the 3 of of us with our crews, I sent you a PM with my cell number. Feel free to call me anytime. Also please reply to the PM with your cell numbers as well.

As for the others: Right now I have a 90 ft boat with 20 guys for offshore seabass. How sweet is that, its like our own private charter!! I could close the trip and enjoy selfishly the Gambler to our small group which I may do BUT in fairness to Capt Bob and crew its still open to anyone.

Texted back and forth with Capt Bob today. forecast is bouncing around all over the place. We decided anything with 25 knots in it is a no go but also decided not to make a call on Friday night until tomorrow around noon.
Will keep you posted.

Also if the window is better Sat into Sun are you guys available?

Sounds good to Steve and I in regards to leaving Saturday fishing Sunday. I know one guy in our group so far can't make it. Don't know about the others. Keep me posted.

Unfortunately just got the word that we are going to have to cancel this trip:mad:
Sucks but its the right call. Sat / Sun is no longer an option as we were sailing light to begin with and too many dropped out for those days.

Thanks for trying guys and please look at the Gambler open spots for future Offshore Seabass Trips. Myself and crew are looking at jumping on his Dec 29 /30 Trip.

Have a great Holidays and see you maniacs on the water soon.
